Contender Asia '08
International Muay Thai Superfights & Contender Asia Selections
This Muay Thai animation is so funny.
Bernard Radin'The Head Hunter' of The Muay Thai Academy and also Khoo Meng Yang'The Red Dragon' of TNT KickBoxing will be amongst the 4 Malaysian exponents competing for a spot in Contender Asia. Bernard and Meng Yang are good friends and go way back. They have been competing alongside each other since they were teenagers. Both being involved in TaeKwonDo, Wushu Sanshou, KickBoxing and now Muay Thai. The other two fighters are Hashim Rozaidi of Boxxtomoi and also Tengku Sharizal of the PDRM.
Bernard who is Malaysia's Ultimate Warrior 2007 (Meng Yang is the 1st runner-up) says "This is a great opportunity for us to show there are good Malaysian Muay Thai fighters"

Last Saturday the 24th of May there was a promotional event held at 'Souled Out' a popular nightspot/bistro in Sri Hartamas. Bernard Radin and Khoo Meng Yang took part in the event, each displaying their individual fighting skills. Bernard also performed the Wai Khru which is a traditional Muay Thai ritual before a fight.Bernard's Wai Khru also showed elements of the iban warrior a heritage Bernard is very proud to be a part of.
I suggest those interested in watching the International Superfights better get their tickets now as they are selling fast!!

That was a tough fight. Ha! Ha! See whose still standing. You may have won the battle but, but check out who won the war.
He, he,he....... Btw, the guy lying down actually went on to get the second place in the Ultimate Warrior sellections in Bukit Jalil.
